Psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The psychoanalytic method, ‘the talking cure’, addresses problems of life through speaking. It is oriented to listening deeply to each person and their uniqueness. It strives to find singularity by investigating the intricate tapestry of one’s history, concerns, and desires.
Psychoanalysis works with any kind of difficulty, problem or anxiety including depression, post-traumatic stress, panic attacks, obsessive thinking, mood swings, grief and loss, issues with intimacy, gender questioning, and family conflict.
My approach is also oriented to understanding how aspects of the person’s identity such as gender, class, sexuality, culture, language, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, and mental & physical health combined create and shape their unique personality.
